Peugeot 508 Sedan will be Equipped with Hybrid4 Diesel Powertrain


Peugeot makes some changes to provide a better ride for the customers. The Peugeot 508 is aiming to meet the customers’ expectation. It starts from the appearance. Peugeot 508 comes with a Bangle-esque arse, headlights of 7th generation Honda Accord, trapezoidal grille and reverse rake C-pillar. Next, this car comes with 4,792 mm in length with a 2,817 mm whellbase. There are well proportioned front and rear overhangs at 985 mm and 990 mm. Meanwhile, it is found that this car is 1,456 mm tall and 2,068 wide. Not forget, this car can easily steal the attention with its sleek and modern design. 


            As stated in the title, Peugeot 508 sedan will be equipped with Hybrid4 Diesel Powertrain. It features a 2.0 liter HDi diesel engine which produces 163 horsepower or 120 kW. This engine is mated with a 37 horsepower electric motor for a combined output of 200 horsepower. The system can be used for four driving modes as Auto, ZEV, 4WD and Sport. It includes all-wheel drive and all-electric emission-free driving for short distance. Not forget, there is a stop or start system and the latest generation of the electronically controlled six-speed manual transmission. It contributes to a CO2 emissions specification of 95 g per kilometer and 3.6 l per kilometer on the combined cycle. 

            Peugeot 508 also shines inside. This car has Nappa fleece along with the hut is prepared with piano black in addition to carbon appearance like neat parts. The piano black plastic gives premium look. Moreover, there are functional features such as instinctive quad-sector environment management to the multi-purpose navigation veer. The instrument cluster is neatly designed. Therefore, it is really easy to read compared with the others. There are satellite navigation and radio controls. In addition, the front pews are comfortable. There are enough leg rooms both for the drivers and the passengers.
